I'm not sure if you necessarily would, but you might care, if you're
part of a student activity. Jenn Yoon has been sitting on the UA
Finboard for a year as the liaison to groups classified as 'Social
Groups' by Finboard. If you're a member of the following groups,
you've probably received monies from UA Finboard in the past year, in
some part due to her lobbying. (Yes, there is a lot of lobbying in
Finboard, and your Finboard liaison does a big part of that for you.)

Anime Club
Assassins Guild
Campus Crusade for Cthulhu
Casino Rueda Group
Club Z
Epicurian
FAQs
Gamit
Imobilare
International Film Club
Mock Combat Club
MITSFS (Science Fiction Society)
Societo Por Esperanto
Society for Creative Anachronism
Student Cable Group
Student Locksmithing Association
Tech Squares
Vegetarian Support Group

Given the large number of typically 'east' student groups that she's
been supporting, and her saying that she wants more 'social'
events...if she's defining it by Finboard's description of 'social',
I'm inclined to believe that some people in these groups will be
getting much, much more than $10.

She's also been doing most of the work running the Large Event Fund,
which sponsored Kaiju Big Battel on campus this year. The organizers
on campus would have gotten $3000 to bring them to campus if Kaiju
didn't cancel on us (nothing to do with Yoon). Again, much more than
$10, and it's fine by me if she classifies that as a social event.

But what do I know? I'm not an undergraduate anymore...
