Hang in there.
The *worst* relationships I've had are invariably the ones I started out
of desperation, with people who I knew weren't quite right. That's a great
way to ruin friendships, too. <sigh>
I find that the two necessary conditions for a long-lasting relationship
are (1) friendship, and (2) serendipity.
Ask Bill about the LSC showing of _Rear Window_, should you doubt me.
