Rob's right. I took .732 with Elaine Campbell, who is still teaching
it, I understand. She's very enthusiastic and cares about the
students. (And she'll be a reference....) The major hassle is the
time commitment, as it is another course to take, and it does have
assignments. However, the assignments are more obviously practical
than in other classes at MIT, not to name numbers.... I haven't done
an oral presentation in any other class in 3.5 years, and my resume is
completed for the most part because of that class.
Useful courses always make me excited.
