I went on a alumni harbor cruise, with schools like MIT, Harvard, RPI,
Brown, Yale, Smith, etc.
I talked to these two guys from Skidmore who were flirting with me, until
they found out I was from MIT. They suddenly had to go to the bathroom.
What is this stigma about being an MIT women. Do we have a stereotype?
OR are guys intimidated by women who are smarter than them. This can even go
for MIT. I wonder how many guys would feel comfortable going out with a
girl/women who was smarter than them.
It works both ways though. I don't think I could go out with a guy that I
didn't think was smarter than I. Am I the only one who feels this way??
Somethimes I wonder if I'm back in the days of "barefoot and pregnant"
with this attitude.
