Situations that are really depressing

Bob and Jeff are friends. Jeff meets Sue. Sue tells Jeff that Bob has
a thing for her. All three end up in the same place at the same time.
Sue makes a move on Jeff.
Has this ever happened to you. Who were you? Jeff, Bob, or Sue?
In this particular instance, I was Jeff. My question is this...
why would Sue do this? Is she trying to get rid of Bob? There must
be a more compassionate way for her to accomplish this end. Is she
honestly propositioning Jeff? If Jeff is even a remotely sensitive
person, he'd tell her no thanks. He might tell her to fuck off, but
his friend Bob would probably be offended if he really did harbor some
kind of affection for Sue.
So is Sue a scuzzbucket? Is Jeff being too sensitive to Bob? Does
it matter if Sue looks like Paulina Porizkova? Bette Midler? What do
y'all think of this situation? I think it stinks, and, in short, is
depressing as all hell.
