Greg, I don't really think that's the worst part of Monday's meeting.
Yes, order at meetings is a problem. However, that actually does
serve the purpose of breaking the tedium. I for one felt better for a
few minutes after the mouse incident.
I think that the problem was not the interruptions and lack of
structure to the meeting, but the emotional undercurrents. People
were unhappy and mad at each other and taking disagreements
personally. Also tied in with that was that when people are emotional
about something it's easy to get annoyed at everyone else who
apparently don't think it's important enough to be paying attention to
the procedure going on.
That was certainly the stuff that depressed me.
