It'd be cool if my thesis could be summed up as
In working on a massive DoD simm, I wrote a useful-albeit-not-
heinously-cool task that does yadda yadda yadda
or
As part of this simm, I wrote this task which does some high-level
reasoning about when it should execute this low-level task yadda
yadda yadda
but unfortunately, it looks like it'll be summed up as
I got it to compile successfully, load everything it should've, and
not dump core. The functionality is that a ground vehicle will
stop what it's doing, spin in place, and then resume what it was
already doing.
It's kinda neat that I'm exhausting the possibilities of what could be
wrong on the second complete overhaul of what should be simplistic,
straightforward, and should only take a couple of hours, rather than days.
Not to worry; my advisor is working on documenting a third straightforward
simplistic method that I can try.
Now i remember why I played netrek.
