I also found out today that a friend of mine from New York killed
herself last week. She seemed rather down last October when I last saw
her. She told me not to worry about it--that life was just not going
well and that was that. Now everyone who knew her is going through the
"I should have..." and "If only..." routine. Unfortunately, none of us
did.
Sigh.
