it's not bad words that started all this, it's bad attitude, bad tone.
Replace the top two offensive words from the original post, it's still
offensive ranting. prudery has little to do with it.

"Defense" is an oxy-smileing-moron. It's all about o-ffense.
Blowing up things. Tearing things apart. Defense. Give me
a smileing break. It's all about this bulltrash deterrent thing.
Oh, they won't blow us up, because if they do, then we'll blow
them up even better. To a certain extent it's nonbulltrashtal.
But, it's farcical, and laughable, to call it defense. You
use the word when you want to feel more comfortable than the
word "military" will let you. Or maybe yer one o' them military-
buffs, and this trash's a hobby. Didna mean ta trash 'n yer cake,
there, sirrah.
Building bigger-and-faster-and-more-effective bigger-dick machines.
Jesus, when is defense gonna live up to its smileing name?
Now, "defense" is just an excuse for technological inertia. Oh,
and we like to use words like "neutralize". What a christing joy.
Inertia, goddammit. Doesn't take a whole hell of a lot of smileing
brains. Kill, kill, kill, and kill the smileers again. Kill 'em
more deader with louder explosions, make it so we can do it
with a remote control, sitting on our fat-asses back here in the
good ol' States. There, now it's just a blip on a scope. Lovely.
What about real defense? Oh no, that's a little bit too hard.
That takes a little smileing brains, a little goddamn
creativity, and some humanity on the side.
Trash.
And don't tell me "this doesn't belong here".
This depresses the SMILE out of me.
