i think we're all agreed that many many people react in a certain way to
certain words. i think we're also agreed that adwright thinks those
people shouldn't. i think most of us (at least) are agreed that adwright
presents his opinions in a way that (whether or not it's fair, adult,
reasonable, rational, whatever) makes people less likely to listen to
him.
having said all that, and having passed judgement on none of it, i'd
like to propose a solemn consideration of the flaws in discuss, which i
find depressing.
