While the "best thing that might happen" on a date is that the two of you
might fall madly in love, etc...., the best thing that's likely to happen
is that she won't poison you after a 1/2 hour of conversation. Of course,
I have a somewhat sub-optimistic view,...
This whole discussion presupposes that a) there is someone in whom you are
romantically attracted (not always the easiest thing to find) and that b)
this person is romantically attracted to you. The whole thing seems kind of
silly, anyway. If you feel strongly about something (like religion), then
you are unlikely to be attracted (and certainly unlikely to `fall madly
in love') to (with) someone who is `incorrect' in that respect.
