I had a different sort of problem with the writing requirement
office. I nedded to get a signature for transfer credit (for a
few humanities courses I took while away from MIT) and they
lost the form. I already had some of the signatures I needed,
and threw away the papers which made those signatures possible.
I'm not even *subject* to the writing requirement (I predated it)
and they *still* found a way to screw me.
