Is there something about MIT that selects for/promotes/whatever intelligent
people who just *don't* think? I just witnessed Yet Another conversation
where people based their argument on an abstract principal that they've been
told since grade school, and nary a flicker of thought crossed their minds.
Life can't be digested from a book and disgorged on a test, people. Try
*using* your brains sometime.
