Re: more weather griping

In Houston (where I'm trapped), it starts getting humid in late April and
we get 85 85 weather until late September. I get around by bike, which makes
the weather even more annoying. At least in Boston, the weather is variable.

Now Seattle, on the other hand... I spent the summer there in 1978 and
can count the number of days without rain on one hand. My parents (who had
never spent much time there either) wouldn't let the kids outside until it
stopped raining. That changed after a couple of weeks, since it never really
did stop raining and we were driving them nuts.

Of course, my views of weather are tainted by my southern California
background. Coastal SC has great weather and the accompanying astronomical
cost of living.
