Well, this isn't a depressing thought, per se, it's more of a
"I dunno where this would go thought" but it's related to ovens --
I've noticed that ever since I've been doing glassblowing, regular
ovens don't seem hot. Really. Kinda luke warm, at best. (This probably
is due to the activity called "putting a piece away" which usually
involves holding a barely-solid piece of blown glass with heat-resistant
gloves and putting it on the bottom of something that's just like a
chest freezer, but happens to be at 900 degrees C.)
good way to loose your eyebrows, or bangs, if you stay in too long... :)
