Obviously, none of you people took 18.03 when it was taught
by Arthur Mattuck. I thought it was extremely useful,
and contained one of the two best explanations of Fourier
Series/Transforms I've ever seen. (out of about 7 different
ones in various courses)
Professors have a great deal of influence on the value
of the classes they teach, and there are an unfortunately
small number of good ones at MIT.
