This is the third night in a row that I've gotten home after 11:00 and
had to light candles and prepare dinner all by myself.
Heather called me at work today; that was a pleasant surprise. And
the concert tonight was a lot of fun.
But I felt sort of out of it at the party afterwards, and I need dinner
and sleep... Tomorrow I have to do laundry and pack and wrap some
presents and finish cleaning the apartment and fly to New York.
Oh, well, at least the Zamir month from hell is over. And this is the
last time (this year) that I have to light alone. And I got a season's
greetings card today (actually, it was on top of the mail when I schlepped
home) that also gave me a warm glow. So it's not all bad.
In fact, it's an above-average life. :-)
