i don't have any PSets to flame about, so i'll skip right to the LD
part... :-)

granted, i only had to deal with a LD relationship for about 6 months
(with fairly liberal number of visits thrown in), but it wasn't the
easiest thing to get through. i was kept fairly busy (thesis,
graduating, etc) and that kept me from going completely nuts... that and
$80-100 phone bills...
i guess my point is that i think it's doable, although maybe not always
the happiest of situations. if you think your relationship is worth it,
stick with it and it'll turn out fine. meanwhile, keep yourself busy
with whatever they throw at you...
if things go as planned (which i'm not convinced they will), i will once
again be in a LD relationship (albeit just 6 hours driving) this time
next year... sigh...
