Even though you thought we wouldn't have been ``right'' when I was almost
convinced otherwise;
Even though you mistook my manner of the other day as a sign of devious
intent when I don't usually understand the word `devious' at all;
Even though you weren't always ready to accept my compliments in the utterly
true and straight way I intended them, or to believe me when I
compared your traits favorably to certain popular notions;
Even though I'm *way* behind in work because of you :^) ;
Even though you're now 3000 miles away and likely to stay so for some time ...
