My wisdom-teeth-removal theme song was Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb." "OK, OK...just a little pin prick There'll be no more AAAAAUUUUHHHHHH But you may feel a little sick." etc :-) The pain-killer was worse than the actual pain, in my case. It made me feel nauseated. (General anesthesia, all four out at once - cut out before they fully developed.)
