What I learned from my folks (not actively, of course), was that a present or
card is "on time" if it is mailed on the day of the event.... I think it has
something to do with Dad filling out tax returns at midnight...of the
extension deadline. And wanting to get "just the right" card or gift.
I gave my grandparents their birthday presents this weekend. They both had
birthdays in early June....
