A year ago, perl was something only a small group of people used, and
it was cool. Users had interesting discussions on the net about it,
and it was Good.
Now that it is becoming more widespread, more people are using it, and
the constant intelligence sum applies. People are asking more and
more "RTFM" questions on the net, and worse, more people are giving
incorrect/stupid/inefficient/nonportable/whatever answers.
Sigh.
