I think children are ok as long as I don't hear them.
As soon as they start making noise I remember the following situation:
Friend1: (to Friend2) If you ever bring your children to my house
expecting me to babysit, I will put a big pot of water on the stove and
boil them.
Friend2: (to me) He doesn't mean that! Does he?
Me: Wellllll....
Thereafter, in restaurants, public places, anywhere obnoxious children are
heard you may hear me say:
WHERE'S THE BABY POT!
