Yes, I can sympathize... I have blown every Course 6 final I have ever
taken here.  Without fail.  Even in the RARE cases in which I did maintain
interest in the class right up until the end, like 6.033.  Maybe it's 
because I feel like I've gotten everything out of the class that I care to
get, and that the exam is just an irritating test of how well you deal 
with an exam situation.

This doesn't happen to me in non-Course 6 finals, though....

In any case, I do agree that the more interesting facets of college life
happen outside of classes.  To misquote John Lennon:  "education is what
happens to you when you're looking the other way."
