losing interest

In two hours, I'm going to walk into Walker and take a final for a
class in which I've punted half the term.

I was getting an A in the class up until after the midterm. Then I
just lost interest. And stopped going to lectures. And stopped doing
the problem sets.

This happens to me every term, at one point or another. Classes just
stop having any sort of meaning to me.

So what's going to happen? Well, the majority of this final is going
to be on the material that I've missed. I might be able to do minor
amounts of the work, but it's doubtful. So I'll fail the final
miserably, and possibly get a D or an F in the class, in which case I
have to take it again, since it's the restricted elective I'm using to
fulfill my major.

God, I hate school here. I always have. It's the stuff besides
school that's so interesting.

Sigh.
