This should have been posted to ping, rather than coatrack.
Actually, there was some talk (either on violinists@mozart.esl.com or
rec.music.classical) of a bunch of net.violists getting together and
playing Brandenburg 6. Sounds like lots of fun.
One possible warning about power putty: I've been having problems with
finger flexibility this week. It may have nothing to do with the power
putty (I always have ups and downs), but my vibrato's all shot this week
because my fingers aren't completely loose.
I wouldn't mind jamming with another violist (or violinist, or more than
one) as long as said other person doesn't mind that I'm not very good...
