That's the whole *point* of the way the MIT CS department deals with
languages. They're not trying to give you experience - they're trying
to teach you high level concepts. If you want experience, go code
something. You have to wrap your mind around it, no course will really
help that. CLU and Scheme just drive home the fact that the language
is just a silly detail.
	Sigh. So many people confuse programming with computer
science.
