Don't worry about, you don't want to work for them anyway. (No, I
don't know who the interviewer was.) I find it impossible to believe
that you were so arrogant to deserve that comment, which probably
means you were only the normal amount of arrogant that every competent
person deserves to be (and, in fact, has to be to prevent getting
walked all over).
Count yourself lucky to have avoided working somewhere you would not
end up enjoying.
