There is a tradition in Judaism that someone who does not believe
should still practice, because practice may lead to belief, just as
belief may lead to practice.  There is much truth in this.

Andrew, did you feel more Jewish when we were going to synagogue
regularly?  Seriously, I don't mean that to sound like, "You should go
to shul on shabbas, nyah nyah!" because I probably go to shul about as
often as you do nowadays (I never have been a morning person, and
synagogue is in the morning, which makes things difficult.... :-).
What I'm asking you is, do you think it would help you to start trying
harder at this point to practice?
