Actually, I'd be much more inclined to donate money to MIT if they
showed some *true* appreciation for the difficulties MIT students face
and for those who fall between the cracks. Lets face it, life is
often full of pain and suffering, and any institution that doesn't
recognize this either doesn't care about anything but their pocketbook
or is incredibly blind. The real depressing thing is that, compared
to many other similar insitutions, MIT is one of the more caring and
comprehensive ones I know of.
