charles vest and co. gave lots'o'spiels about the joys of being a memeber of the wonderful, huge international community of mit graduates. but what about the people who fall between the cracks, or drop out, or never have any friends or touch anybody or are touched by anybody, or fail out, or get so fucked over by this place that they don't care if they never see another mit person again?
