seth, that's kinda what i reckoned ... it's the problem one has
when you have limited medical experience (i thought i was manifesting
KS ... even though the stuff in question didn't look like KS i've
seen, i couldn't be sure <how do i know if KS manifests differently on
different parts of the body ... when i've seen it, usually on the face
and hands, it's usually quite obvious ... ?>)
to complicate the issue, i've been ill on and off since june (the
litany is depressing, so i won't discuss it .. ) and this is after
being relatively healthy for about five years. it would seem to be
coincidence (none of the illnesses have a connection to HIV save for
one, and that illness did manifest in a way not consistent with
HIV-infected manifestations of the same illness).
(the obvious question becomes: why haven't you tested for HIV? well,
i have ... it's not really useful to do this more than once or twice a
year, and i'm due ... and the result of limited utility <you only
learn that you weren't showing signs of infection at the time of the
test ... since the virus and the antibodies may have a long latency
period you can show HIV- when you're really HIV+ ... >
