The most recent (or next-to-most-recent, or damn-near-recent) _New York Times
Book Review_ has a cover story about a writer who went through a severe
depression (he believes that the word "depression" does not do justice to
how miserable this condition is). He says he eventually got over his through
"rest and solitude." Time wounds all heels, or something like that.

If you have enough energy to go to Hayden Library, I suggest you take a look
at this article. Also, if you are registered for next term, you should
consider taking a leave of absence; talk to Dean Henderson in the ODSA.
