xdvi resets scrollbar on new page

I set the window size of xdvi so that my empty margins are outside of
the window (i.e. window width is text width), and use the horizontal
scroll to position the text in the window.  When I read the file and
type 'n', the top of the next page should show, and it does.  But the
horizontal scroll resets to putting the left margin back on the
screen.  There's nothing interesting in the left margin, so I'd
suggest making it so that the horizontal scroll doesn't change when I
hit n or p.
