Yes, it's very important for the resumes to stay there, but a number
of them are really out-of-date and don't format properly anymore.
I'll deal with reorganizing them.
I think we should at least keep a copy of the LaTeX thesis templates
in an "old" directory... I don't trust Athena _that_ much, especially
where something as important as a thesis is concerned. How about
updating our copies from /mit/thesis, making sure the new versions are
reasonably compatible with the old ones, and then placing them in an
"old" directory?
