I installed mutt 1.4 in the sipb locker. Full documentation can be found in /mit/sipb/doc/mutt. By default, mutt is configured to read mail directly off of your IMAP server without downloading it to your home directory. I will be getting rid of the install of mutt 1.3.x in the outland locker sometime in the near future. The biggest user-visible difference between the two is that krb4-authenticated connections will be encrypted, but due to an unresolved bug, krb4-authenticated connections cannot be layered over SSL. This will only negatively affect users trying to use mutt from behind a NAT, but it will require some people to change their mailbox/spoolfile URLs from imaps:// to imap://. yak
