I installed the software currently installed as xmcd-beta in
outland as xmcd in the sipb locker tonight. I'm waiting for the volumes
to be released to announce this to software announce, on the off chance
that anything that I forgot to test broke while I was doing this. If
something did break and the old installation needs to be quickly
restored, moving the .old versions of these files and directories:
/mit/sipb/bin/xmcd
/mit/sipb/share/X11/app-defaults/XMcd
/mit/sipb/lib/xmcd/
/mit/sipb/share/xmcd/
(for appropriate expansions of /mit/sipb/bin and /mit/sipb/lib), back
into place, followed by releasing the affected volumes, should fix the
problem. I'll send mail announcing this to a wider audience in the
morning.
