The phrase "there's also a really big cluster just next door that
people can use" completely avoids the issue - we WANT people to be in
the office, and it's silly to tie up a perfectly good workstation and
force people to NOT be in the office. YES, the SIPB office is a
terminal room for the members if that's how you get them to hang
around and answer questions. A SIPB member can't do much else useful
for the organization if they aren't even here. You also want enough
workstations so that prospectives can hang around and get to know
people.
We may or may not get dialup - I never really got a commitment from
Peter Roden. That whole dialup mess is waiting on DEC to deliver the
PVAXen for the new dialup suite.
