Hm... on an normal athena sun:
drwxrwxr-x 7 root 101 512 Mar 12 14:43 /var/adm/
but on a dialup:
drwxr-xr-x 7 root root 1024 Mar 12 00:10 /var/adm/.
Having /var/adm be essentially world-writable (group 101 is "mit")
seems wrong.
I couldn't tell from the portion of the bug report cc'ed to bug-dialup
if this was just cosmetic or if it actually caused lossage. Is it a
big deal? If not, I'm likely to punt on fixing it and see what happens
in 2.6/8.2.
