X VERSION, RELEASE, and PATCH LEVEL:
    [e.g., X Version 11, Release 4, Patch Level 18]

CLIENT MACHINE and OPERATING SYSTEM:
X.dialup.mit.edu on Athena system.
I think it's a Sun, but I'm not sure.

NEWS SYSTEM and VERSION:
Usual newsgroups. Not sure of the name of the system.

SYNOPSIS:
Program crashes sporadically when
a) a posted article is selected via middle mouse button, or
b) when an article is saved, or
c) when a menu button is pressed.

DESCRIPTION:
The error is unpredictable, but appears to be of the same type every time:
A small error-message window comes up, with a "caught signal (11)"
message or something like that. Two menu buttons are offered
in the little window: "Abort" or "Exit".

When the XRN window closes, the shell reports a "Segmentation fault".

REPEAT BY:
Only stuff I'm supposed to do!

SAMPLE FIX:
No clue. It seems the exectutable image is corrupted or something.
