Even though the about box claims to support remote database access, it
fails to recognize most CDs, and doesn't appear to actually perform the
lookups.  It appears to poll the CD-ROM drive in such a way that it tells
it to close the tray about once a second, which makes changing discs 
difficult.  It's version 2.0PL1 while the previously supported version in
the SIPB locker was 2.1PL1.

I wish I could dig it up so that I could forward the copy to you, but
I don't think I have logs of my sent mail for that period.

I agree; there shold be only one version, and it should be a version
that functions on all platforms.
