The feature is still present, in a way. Any time you "close"
a new site (or quit ncftp), a bookmark for it is stored. Then,
the next time you type 'o', this site is available to you.
Example:

Saving new bookmark named "oak" in your host file, pointing
to <URL:ftp://oak.oakland.edu//pub/>.

However, the new ncftp does not look at your .ncrecent file, which
was used by the previous version to store this data, so it
doesn't have any information about sites which you opened berore using
the new version. You may have to view the file, and then
open+close each of the sites by hand.
Sincerely
