We've just noticed that updating the locker left a few platforms
without access to xdvi. As far as we know, however, the only
platforms thus affected are Linux and NetBSD, which often have xdvi
(and dvips, another essential piece of actually using [La]TeX)
installed locally. Are you using one of these platforms?
We're going to remedy the situation ASAP, but for now you could
consider running the xdvi binaries out of the appropriate subdir of
/afs/sipb.mit.edu/project/sipb-old (for example:
athena% /afs/sipb.mit.edu/project/sipb-old/inbsdbin/xdvi foo.dvi &
Seems to work for my tests.
Sorry about the trouble, and please get back to me and let me know
what platform you're using as soon as it is convenient.
