The fonts in /mit/sipb/share/tex/fonts are "virtual fonts"
corresponding to the PostScript fonts, and were there because the
copies of dvips and xdvi in the old sipb locker could use them. Since
those programs have been removed, which is probably a bad thing given
that they were the only copies on Athena for some platforms, and since
the fonts also exist in the newtex locker, we probably don't need them
anymore.

The newtex maintainers are currently being lame, but we intend to
improve, really.
