Hi. The /mit/sipb/common/bin/tex.new script, which the various
latex* programnames link to, has a few annoying AFS dependancies. The
two paths that are set at the top have "@sys" in them, which only
works in AFS. Please replace those with "${ATHENA_SYS}", which should
always be defined and will work even when the locker is not in
AFS. Also, the CPATH variable setting depends on /mit/newtex/bin being
a symlink to arch/@sys/bin, which also only works in AFS. The easiest
way to fix this is to replace every "CPATH=/mit/locker/bin" with
"CPATH=`athdir /mit/locker`". Thanks.
