xscreensaver breaks under mwm

It's either an xscreensaver bug or a toolkit bug, I think, because it
also breaks under awm (in the same way, which has something to do with
the redirection of keyboard events), and both awm and mwm tend to be
somewhat ICCCM complaint.

My first intuitive guess is that the problem has something to do with
the reparenting effects of mwm and awm, although that is just a guess.
I'll do some serious investigation when I get back in September.

In the mean time, if you need to lock your workstation you'll have to
kill your window manager before you lock it, and then restart after
unlocking it.  If you write a shell script (or use "punt" from the
consult locker) to kill the mwm process, you can put that as the
xscreensaver lock command (I *think* this will work :-) and put a
command to restart mwm as the unlock command.
