I have been able to reliably get xscreensaver to die on the vax during
the unlocking of the display.
Sequence:
While screen is locked press return
Type password <return>
Press return one or two more times (during which time the saver
is releasing the screen)
Poof - xscreensaver dies with the following:
flakey% X Protocol error: not a valid window ID
Major opcode of failed request: 10 (X_UnmapWindow)
Minor opcode of failed request: 0
Resource id in failed request: 0xb00024
Serial number of failed request: 126
Current serial number in output stream: 130
