I am interested in the nol program offered by sipb. Would it be
possible for me to obtain a private copy of the program to use on
another machine (again at mit, different research group)? I do not
know what sipb rules are with such requests, so please let me know if
it is permitted, and if it is, where is the source code?
There should be no problem at all for you to get a copy of the source
code. You can get a copy of it by attaching sipbsrc and looking in
/mit/sipbsrc/uu2/vs2/nol.c. Currently this program does not get much
use, since in the Athena workstation environment there is usually only
one user logged into a workstation at a time. However, for time sharing
machines it still is very useful.
If you have any problems or suggestions or big-fixes to nol, please feel
free to send them to bug-sipb. Good luck!
