I just installed the latest release version of xrn (7.03) in the sipb
locker under the name `xrn-new' for decmips, sun, rs6k, sgi, and
inbsd. I created a shell script wrapper called `xrn' for the sgi that
gives an explanitory message and runs xrn-new. I'll get the linux
version when I get a chance, unless someone beats me to it (hint).
The source tree is in sipbsrc/src/xrn-new. I also blew away some old
source trees, leaving us with:
xrn-old: whatever was xrn before. This shouold go away soon.
xrn-7.02: I assume an earlier attempt to resynch with the dist
source This may be what's installed. I think that this
is my fault, and I intend to nuke it RSN.
xrn-new: what I just installed for most platforms.
xrn-beta: the latest beta version of xrn as of this morning. I
haven't started building/installing this yet, since I'd
like to get xrn at a stable point first.
In the meantime, please get people you know to try and break the
installed xrn-new. There *may* be a problem with the installed
app-defaults file, but I think that I have it fixed now.
