rel-eng, there's a copy of the reference source (from rs.internic.net)
in /mit/sipb/src/src/whois, with a minor patch applied to make it
compile under SGIs (I've submitted the patch to
markk@internic.net). I've installed it in the SIPB locker; it will go
away once it's part of the release.
bug-sipb folk, previously ``fwhois'' was built for SGIs and ``whois''
was symlinked to it. Since they take different syntaxes, this sucked
royally. This has been fixed. (Note that SGIs were the only platform
that had such a symlink).
